The Frontier of Ten Million FPS

When standard high-speed imaging reaches its limit, we enter the realm of the truly extraordinary. Utilizing the Shimadzu HPV-X2 and HPV-X3, I record events at up to 20 million frames per second. At this level, we are documenting the nanosecond world: shockwaves, plasma physics, and the structural failure of materials. My work here is about removing the “mask” from physical phenomena, providing high-resolution data where others see only a blur.
